Creation of a visual identity and website for a small financial advice company
A friend created FBKConseils in 2019, a small financial advice company. He needed help to create the visual identity of the brand, that's when I stepped in. I started in 2020 and, the idea was to create a website packed with information, so that people could have the possibility to learn by themselves, and find all these financials topics and information in the same place, from the complex world of real estate, to taxes, going by insurances, retirement or even investments and more. We needed to bring confidence to show that we created this company to help people and not to scam them, as it is often the way this profession is seen. So, We decided to create a mascot character, Noé, as the FBKConseils representative, a cartoon character designed to break the official tailored suit image of the financial world. To facilitate the understanding of the different concepts and financial topics on our website, we created a whole family for Noé and illustrated them in realistic examples so that everyone can relate to them and adapt the calculations to their specific situation. We kept the tie symbol as the body of our characters, and added the yellow flip-flops for the more common and fun aspect to which all people can easily relate. It was a risk because it undermined the 'serious' image expected of these various complex subjects by adding an unexpected element of fun. But it helped enhanced our reputation, and our clients ended up really liking it because it was different. I also partially created the UX design of the website, by making frameworks and mock-ups with Adobe XD in coordination with the developer and managed the SEO optimisation.
Creation of an explanatory YouTube channel to complement the FBKConseils website
In addition to the FBKConseils website, I created a YouTube channel to explain and popularise the financial subjects we cover. The idea was to offer another information support than the website in order to reach more people, and help them understand all those financial matters everyone has to deal with in Switzerland. The videos last between 3 to 25 minutes and are dedicated to a specific topic. To enhance the channel, we've also created a short video format, lasting 1 minute and based on the concept of "did you know that", explaining a particular fact in the topics we cover. It is diffused on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok.
The YouTube channel has become a significant stream for attracting clients. People can easily identify to our characters and understand all the concepts which helped build a confidence with the brand. For each video I used several Adobe softwares : Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effets, Premiere Pro, Character Animator, Animate and Audition.
Creation of a 3D advertising campaign video
A friend's parents created a eco-friendly furniture company and wanted to start advertising videos to present the multi-sides of their product. As they knew I made videos, they asked me some help. I as really wanted a project to learn 3D video production, I accepted. So, I created a 3D advertising video for their cododo furniture product in 2021.
I used Blender v 2.9 only, it took two months, 2/3 hours a day. I used some free models for certain objects in the video, and created the others.I also used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects to animate the logo.
Creation of different brand designs
I met Arnaud Dousse, one of the two creator of Acarré, in November 2024. Passionnate about illustrations and baking, I suggested to help with their designs and began submitting ideas that he actually really liked and adopted. I also made some videos for their Instagram Reels feed.
I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the designs and After Effects and Animate, for the videos.
Creation of a booklet presenting 8 different chocolates
In 2020, the period where we had quite some time to spare, I decided to create my own chocolates to offer at Christmas. I started baking seriously a few years before, and I was like, “I’d like a new challenge, let’s do it” (in the meantime I spared my brain for searching all kind of different gift ideas for everyone, two birds with one stone). Then my brain took a hit, cause I was like : “Ok great, you’re making 8 different kinds of chocolates… How will people know which one is which ? Or even just what’s inside ?”. There comes the booklet, like you could find in a real chocolate box. Well, not exactly like that, let’s say I created it my own way.
The whole thing was made with Adobe Photoshop and a graphic tablet.Creation of several designs of birthday and Christmas cards.
I love to draw, and to offer personalized birthday cards. At Christmas, I also like to create a design to wish a merry christmas to everyone.
I do this by hand. When I’m not doing anything else, I draw.
Nothing much to say about that, I love it, especially food illustration. I would like to take the time to design visual recipes, and maybe restaurant menus. I wanted to mix the video making with the drawing so I started a tiktok account to post my drawings.
I use mostly Chameleon markers and colour pencils.Creation of a cocktail menu with Illustrator
In 2022, a friend told me he was building a bar in his living room. I took this very seriously, and so did he. As he created amazing cocktails, I imagined a real Cocktail menu for his incredible mixology creations. Yes, this friend’s name is Raphaël, and he likes pineapples.
The whole thing was created with Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I also designed the font for the "RAFA" logo with Illustrator.
